As an ICTD researcher, I will better understand the social impacts of technology in developing countries by leveraging my background in Cultural Anthropology and strengthening my observational, interviewing, and interpretive skills that make up the core of ethnographic work. To the extent that I become involved with interventionist ICTD, I want to do work that helps align technology to the needs and goals of local people.
